How do I reset the master code on an Infinite Prime Alarm System?

Hi,
I’ve just moved into a new house and do not have the alarm code for the Infinite Prime Alarm System that is installed there.
I cannot contact the original homeowner as he passed away and the company who they had a monitoring service contact with does not know the code either.
Is there a way I can perform a reset to wipe the code and reset it the default codes?

I have a DSC Alarm in my apartment that was left over from the past resident?

I would love to order security monitoring service using my current equipment however I was told that I needed a phone line to accomplished this. My landlord inform me that this alarm equipment was installed years ago. I use a mobile phone and do not landlines at home. How do fix this problem?

I have a Napco home security system and decided to stop the monitoring service. It worked as a ‘local’ system for a few months before it stopped working as a local system. Napco tells me the alarm monitoring company probably shut it off the ‘local’ setting and that I need a ‘dealer’ code to turn it on again.
Can anyone help?
What is the best home security system for a renter? Wireless? Do you have to have a phone line?

I need a cost effective burglar alarm system. I rent so I need something I can take with me when I leave. Do I need a monitoring service? Can you have a wireless system with no phone line? Is it better to buy a DIY system online and then purchase monitoring separately?
