Concord 4 Security System – Part 2 + Simplex 4005
Part 2 of the new GE Concord 4 (see part 1 www.youtube.com This time the auxiliary alarms are being tested (Fire and carbon monoxide). The house also has a Simplex 4005 fire alarm system (for the fire alarm people it consists of System Sensor i3 2WBs, Edwards ROR/FT heat detectors and SpectrAlert Advance devices.) The Simplex 4005 has an aux relay card which trips the Concord system when it is in fire alarm or a CO detector was tripped. One relay also “hides” the fire zone resistor from the Concord when the Simplex panel is in trouble. So a trouble with the 4005 is also reported at the Concord as seen in the beginning.
