Bypassing Alarm System
Jablotron (www.jablotron.com) Profi system being bypassed. The purpose of this video is to show how easily some alarm systems can be bypassed. Some of you may think that it’s a stupid idea to reveal vulnerabilities of security systems, but I believe it’s better that everyone knows – not just the burglars. Hopefully this will encourage manufacturers to further improve their products and also help end-users to better understand what they want from their system. I would like to hear comments from other wireless alarm system owners! In my mind, alarm systems have two missions: 1. Local alarm (when the user returns, he can – by looking at the system – notice that an alarm has occurred while he was away) 2. Remote alarm (notifying predefined persons through SMS for example) This demonstration prevents both from happening. Works with a PIR detector too. This particular system is approved by my local insurance companys.
