Are there any alarm system companies that are offer higher upfront, but lower monthly monitoring charges? I don’t mind paying, say 0 to 400 upfront for installation, but would like the monthly monitoring to be less than /mo. I have found several companies in other areas that offer this, but I doubt would do an install in my area, Baltimore. So, I’m essentially looking for a nationwide or regional company that would cover the Baltimore area.

Monitoring service was cancelled months ago, still have the system. Every now and then the alarm goes off and my old code has to be entered to stop it. It may last for several days, then it happens again. Anyone know how to prevent this? Worried that it will go off when no one is home.

I’m running my first half marathon and I need a watch that has heart rate monitor and also has a feature I can set before the race starts (I don’t want to mess with it while running) to go off every 4 minutes….

a family member brinks home alarm stop working after canceling his service after the 3 years contract but now is not working at all,is there anyway to make this home alarm work as stand alone system without being monitored? I myself have an ADT alarm which ive being using without monitoring and work fine.
